Yet scientists have become increasingly concerned that the routine use of antibiotics in animal agriculture may accelerate the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria that could lead to a pandemic or other health crisis.
Of course the reason the chickens need these injections is they live in their own shit. Maybe even eat feed made out of their own family members ....
I want to stress I heard of this on a geeky tech podcast I listen to. Although I might be a liberal I also eat my fair share of meat and I assume many other folks that listen to this weekly podcast do as well.
People are starting to pay attention to this shit cause it is pissing them off big time.
As one of the hosts said, and he wasn't trying to be funny, "I guess this is really a chicken or egg story."
