Our friend count, who was with us almost from the very beginning of our humble blogging venture here, recently passed away at the age of 70.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends, we will surely miss him.  I know my time here was certainly better for knowing him.

How sad (4.00 / 2)
May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear that count has died. He was a lovely man. (4.00 / 1)
His comments were invariably interesting and knowledgable.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Just this past weekend I was thinking about count, wondering why he had been absent from this space for so long.

This is such sad news (4.00 / 2)
But thank you Jay for making sure that his passing did not go unrecognized, at least on our little corner of the web.

RIP Count (4.00 / 1)
Sorry to see him go. Just read his article here on Balsamic Vinegar.
