Growing Green Economy in a Small Town

I need your help. Please pass this on to anyone you think might care. I have entered a contest from Green Giant.com that will give $25,000 to each of four category winners to go toward the project they are promoting.
I am the President of the North Country Sustainability Center, which hopefully will be at an old mill site turned riding stable in the middle of my hometown.  You can see the facilities and other information on our website, http://www.northcountrysustain...  Our plan is to develop a place that will teach sustainable agriculture, cooking, sewing, woodworking and basic home skills. But we'll also have a micro-creamery and commercial kitchen so area farmers can come to NCSC to make a saleable product.

Beyond that, we'll have a farmer's market and retail shop, so that people can find local food around the year. But we'll also have areas available for people to train their dogs, and since there's an indoor riding arena, we'll hire it out for dog shows, livestock expos, contra-dances, and other events.
Plus, we'll have an arts center focused on local artists and traditional skills such as blacksmithing and stonemasonry, plus more conventional arts.  All of this on less than 6 acres, with 8 miles of two different train stations.
Because of the way the buildings are set on the land, and the previous mill, we have the opportunity to power this with solar energy and micro-hydro, so we can teach people about these technologies too.
Our hope is that people will come to us to learn how to can, sew, or just celebrate the land, and then take that information back home to grow their own food and build the movement.
It's a big project, but very exciting, and for the first time in years this old mill town smiles occasionally. Please vote for "Growing Green," at http://THEGreenAwards.com in the Local Organizer category. The money will help us buy the land and really start our plans.
